Yesterday was such a successful one, we decided to do it all over again. We started with a 3h drive to Trinity Bay, before embarking on the Skerwink Trail,
We marched off on another stunning seaside hike with spectacular views.
More stairs,
Towering cliffs,
(Which mummy loved…
...occasionally from afar)
Oh, and more whales!!!
(What?!?! We're so good at this!)
Towards the end of the trail we caught sight of the Town of Trinity from across the bay.
Used as the filming location for The Shipping News, it was first permanently established in 1580, and is one of the earliest settlements in North America. It’s now home to many colourful and heritage buildings.
Including our inn!
It was a good thing we “Google Maps’d” our dinner spot,
Directions were super complicated.
After a couple drinks and glam shots on the patio,
We went inside so Taz could spend 10 minutes reviewing this poster for appropriate wine pairings,
"Guys, we NEED to get one of these!"
And (eventually), for dinner.
So delicious, we scarfed it down before we could get any pics…again.
We took a quick stroll through town afterwards,
Just long enough for some friendly locals to goad Taz into ringing the church bell.
“DO it! Cha, cha, CHA!”
