So, we've now driven almost two thousand kilometres, over four days, across two different time zones...and we still haven't gotten out of Ontario. Are we there, yet?
We've been hitting all the highlights, like the Terry Fox Monument and Lookout.
It and his accomplishments are just as impressive as they were 36 years ago...

And, we've determined there's no shortage of waterfalls in Northern Ontario.

However, as one might imagine, most of our time is spent...driving.
Taz has spent a little time keeping the "trip tracker" up to date,
(It may or may not have taken the entire first day, just to figure out how to open and re-fold an actual paper map.)
And a lot of time lounging around sipping specialty hot chocolates,
curating Apple Music playlists,
snacking (lots of snacking),
and maintaining his visage with his plethora of excessive and questionably necessary skin and hair care products...
"Taz, was the kilogram of Vaseline (plus hair mask, face serum, three types of lotion - not shown), really necessary?"
"Oh, did you see he brought the rose quartz roller, too?"
"Guys, this is why I look so good!"
Meanwhile, Ciel, not wanting to lose any ground in her quest for complete physical domination of the rest of the family, has decided this is the perfect opportunity to get in a little training... through a rotating series of stretches and calisthenics.
She's even taken to leading classes.

While the weather has cooperated enough for our scant outings, it has limited our activities at the actual RV parks as
by the time we roll in, set up, and pull dinner together, it's been too cold and rainy to consider venturing out. I mean, inside it's warm, dry, and cozy and the drinks are cold and plentiful. While outside is...an RV park.
Soooo...yeah, there's also that.
Fortunately, our stop in Lake of the Woods was accompanied by a little sunshine,
Finally, a chance to don our matching bathers!
Oh, yes, we did!
Surprisingly, it didn't ingratiate us with the regulars.
Nothing to do now, but keep on truckin'! If all goes according to plan, we may even make it to Manitoba!

LOL, Northern Ontario is a beast! Terry Fox...now that's a Canadian hero!! It's hard to keep yourself occupied when traveling long hours and I would say the kids are doing a bang up job!! Keep on RVing!!
I remember thinking exactly the same thing about how long it took to get out of Ontario. Love the bathing suits. Always fun hearing from you.
