In an effort to improve on previous attempts, and to ensure a more authentic Parisian dining experience we decided to take a more proactive approach to dinner. Britt and Cam found a great little wine bar around the corner, that we managed to convince to let us order take out. They were a little reluctant at first but after threatening them with our armada of strollers and hyperactive children they quickly ceded defeat.
The effort was well worth it, as they loaded us up with a fantastic spread that included fois gras, cured meats and cheeses, and smoked beef tenderloin. They were so eager to see us on our way they even tossed in a couple pâtés that were still in their sealed jars, straight off the store shelf. We were a little overzealous in our ordering, however, and consequently have been eating the same thing for lunch and dinner for the past three days…
In the last couple days, we finished up our bus tour, hit the Louvre and walked les Champs-Élysées to l’Arc de Triomphe.
Something interesting. Not sure what. Ian was shouting about a scooter with a roof on it, Lexi was rooting under the seat for a dropped granola bar, and Ciel was puking in my lap during the commentary.
Ian (who has been a self-proclaimed "Junior Firefighter" ever since he got that fire truck tattoo at the CNE) got to climb to the top of a fire truck ladder.
Ciel and Lexi were very impressed...

Ciel and Lexi worked together to demonstrate what happens when you ride around in a bus all day without changing your kid’s diaper.
After lunch in the park today Melanie and Spencer returned to London, with plans to take a couple days off to recover from the sensory onslaught and attempt to engage in conversation about something other than poop and vomit.
