003 - Paris - Hop on

Although we had another amazing day touring Paris, the highlight for sure came in the first hour when our long lost apartment key finally resurfaced. This was sweet not only in that it allowed us to dodge the 500 euro locksmith fee, and avoid having to hide our valuables in our dirty socks whenever we leave the house, but also in that the culprit was finally unmasked.  Apparently, Britt was so confident that she was not involved in the incident, she has spent the last two days rifling through all of my stuff, but failed to look in her own jacket pocket, where the key was eventually discovered. She has (rightfully) been the recipient of much heckling ever since...

We opted to go for one of those "hop on, hop off"  tours in order to log a few more of Paris' main attractions. Unfortunately, we also opted to bring three children and three strollers so it was more like "crash on,  trample off" but we made it work.

We spent most of our day walking around Sacre Coeur and Mont Martre where we lucked into finding a wine and food festival

Parking was tight.

There was a little trivia scrawled on the pavement:
Do you really have to ask?

We were greeted with an urgent notice on our door when we returned. If anyone knows what it says,  just give Mr Rope a call and sort it out. Thanks,  that'd be great...

Inspired by her trip to the Moulin Rouge, Ciel put on the final show of the day.
